Who is Klarna?

Klarna is a Swedish payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment.

How does Pay in 3 instalments work?

Pay in 3 instalments allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal interest-free payments. Each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout.

Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed, instalments 2 and 3 are scheduled for 30 and 60 days later.

How does Pay in 30 days work?

Once your order is confirmed, you'll receive an email with payment instructions within two days from Klarna. You'll then have 30 days to make your payment, at a time to suit you. Complete the payment online, at your convenience, with no extra cost. You can pay via credit or debit card in the Klarna app or by logging into your Klarna account.

What is the minimum/maximum spend?

With Pay in 3, a transaction has to be between £35 and £1,000. For Pay in 30 days, there is no minimum spend, but a maximum spend limit of £800. Limits are subject to status.

Will a credit search take place against me?

No credit searches will be run against you that could impact your credit rating.

Klarna may run soft credit searches that do not affect credit scoring and are only visible to you and Klarna, but not visible to other lenders.

How does the returns process work?

As soon as we have accepted your return, Klarna will cancel any future scheduled payments as well as refund any amounts onto the same card you paid with. The return will be reflected in the Klarna app immediately.

Can I pay before the due date?

Yes. Just go to the Klarna app or log onto Klarna.com/uk and pay off early.
